I wanted to post a video of a lap at Washington’s newest track…The Ridge Motorsport Park. Really smooth flow with multiple high speed sweepers, the layout and design feel a lot like Thunderhill (which makes sense as they share the same designer). The Ridge Racing School put on this event; great bunch of guys with an arsenal of helpful coaches. The entire event was run seamlessly.
Being that we’re in Washington there was rain, hail, and more rain...but even in the wet the track I had more grip than my brain could comprehend. It honestly didn’t make sense. I can’t wait to better understand the line and run in the dry!
Quick video of a lap. I thought I was pedaling pretty well until an ST class Cayman blurred passed me. I found solace when I learned it was being driven by a professional Rolex 24hr racer.
See you at the track. My personal goal is 15 days this summer.

I actually like driving in the wet, really supports learning car control and smoothness....
Looks like a fun track, hope to get there this year once I get my engine rebuilt...

I so wanted to go, but the snowing, raining, & hail knocked some since into me. The track isn't going anywhere. Last time I was out there, the track just didn't look ready, there were trees off apexes, & about 3-6in lip transition form track to mud, that scared me on a new track with blind crest.
You had the traction because it's good pavement! You will now not want to run PR again!
Looks like I thought it would! Cant wait to hit it!!!!!

That's kind of what I'm afraid of. I can't do more then 2-4 track days a year, I can't do more then 2-4 track days a years, I can't do more then 2-4 track days a year.....Originally Posted by daltvater
You are going to love this track Mike. I think the track is something like 40 feet wide all the way around. It feels much safer than Pacific.
