I've got a bone stock 96 C4 with 17-inch cup wheels. Can anyone recommend best size wheel spacers to bring the wheels out to the edge of the fenders? More in front than back. 7mm? 15mm? Also, which brand of clear paint protection film does everyone recommend? Thanks.

I got shafted on Ebay on some 17 Cup 2s.
Anyway, those wheels were 47 offset versus the normal 55 OEM Cup 2s.
The rears where flush with the fender and looked outstanding. So, on the rears,
I would say a 7-8mm spacer would be just perfect.
I'm not sure about the fronts though, since they were 55 offset and needed to come out a bit. Maybe an extra 5-7mm.

Purr
where are you located?
I just had full PPF installed on my 993. im waiting for a few forum members to give me their best subjective opinions but while i await their input, i feel like it came out spectacular. I plan on posting a full review once more members see it in person.
My installer used Venture Shield.
Full hood, full fenders, entire front end, and lower valances, mirrors, lower rockers, tucked all the way under, painted areas inside all wheel wells. 98% of the edges were 'wrapped' and not cut inside body panel lines.
was installed by "ClearBraNJ" in long branch. any local members who are on the fence about this are welcome to come to my garage and take a look.

Out of curiosity I stuck a rear cup wheel on front a week ago. As far as fitment goes it would be equal to a 25mm spacer (ok, 25.6mm) on a 17x7 front wheel. It was basically flush but looked odd with the rounded wheel arches. I'd think ~20mm in front with a 5mm out back would look pretty good. Not sure if the front wheel bearings would like it much though..
