Cant wait to see this...
And here is some advice for any 993'ers thinking the grass is greener on the 997 GT3 side. I truly miss Smurf... As has been said 1000 times before, there really is nothing like a 993. Sure, the GT3 is faster...but the sum of the experience isn't the same.
I am currently building a GT3 track car in much the same fashion as Smurf - there are many more "obstacles" and "what-ifs" in the 997 world when compared to 993s....not to mention double/triple the cost of just about everything.
Given the chance, I'd buy back Smurf in a heartbeat and dump the GT3. Just my 2-cents...and I will own another 993 someday...probably very soon.

Great combination. You need to be careful about washers/spacing and filing around the base of the shifter and shift tube to make things perfect. Feel free to PM me if you go this route.
