The more I look at the picture, the less I believe it is a porsche part.

I will go with a broken piston ring, although how the bits got out of the land I do not know......

Those are my thoughts, how did it get out. The thinner pieces look like parts of the oil ring that the scraper ring has taken out as they were dragged down the cylinder wall

Potentially, however the engine has never been apart, I have had the car 5 years and put 25000 km on it (it has 100,000 km) The previous owner had it for 8 years and put about 60k on it.

Most of the miles are on the track approx 80%...
