Default Chocolate 993's

I was in Geneva this week and was looking for something to bring home for my kids and spotted these two. Even today when the Swiss make a chocolate Porsche it is a 993.
At the Geneva Motor Show they had the very first RUF car produced. It had a whopping 303hp, which was major power for 1977!!

The attention to detail is incredible right down to the wipers and bumperette delete.

What camera/lens did you use for the Ruf pics?

Nikon D300 with 24-70mm f 2.8. The lens is the best camera purchase I have ever made, it is fantastic.
It's funny on my monitor these are very crisp but on this site they have a soft look. I noticed the same thing when I posted pictures of my car. I do shoot in Raw so the conversion might effect things??

The depth of field appears so shallow it makes it almost look like you're shooting miniature or tilt-shift or something. I need a nice fast lens like that. And yeah, unprocessed RAW may be a little soft. Did you try to sharpen them in Pshop?

To be honest I took so many pictures over a short period of time that this shot might have been at 2.8, giving the shallow depth of field. I usually shoot a car at 5.6 for a clean looking car and blurred background.

Just looking at the pictures and not reading it, I thought the first Ruf photo was a forced perspective pic of a model on a wooden table or something. I looked down at the interior shot and thought "man, that is a detailed model!"
