Yes, they did, even at my turbo as well. They are used to do alot of leatherwork at 911 of any age and the finish is great!

Their are some small details, which you will find until now only at Butzi's Speedster.
Looks great ... Both 9m cars have those hand made leather seat belt tower covers BTW ... Marc designed those without ever seeing Butzi's car .. just seemed logical since the factory ones in Stayfast were no longer available.
Wondering why Freisenger shimmed under your A post .... haven't seen that on any other car, factory or otherwise ... just flush.

Not Freisinger, that's the work of ap-car-design and my wish. The reason about this detail is placed at the Porsche-Museum...

I think, that 9m makes the dash-board thicker below the leather, without any modification their would be a gab between dash-board and a-post.

Hm, very interesting. It looks like they are just trying to do an extension of the leather covered bolt cover or something. Anyway, the reason I asked is because the relationships are the same on the 964 which is flush when assembled and so is the ex-Seinfeld factory built '97 Speedster .. flush from the factory. But I do know that there is a lot of adjustment needed to get the dash, windshield frame, top and sidewindows and seals to all meet correctly and seal ... and each car has to be hand adjusted in finish assembly to make it work, so it doesn't surprise me that there are differences. It appears that Butzi's added leather pieces are a different (lighter) color of leather than the dash .. is that true or is that just an optical illusion due to lighting?

I didn't remember that anymore, because at that point of time I never thought to buy, or to build a 993 Speedster. But I think the reason is just the flash of the camera.

Well, no matter .. I think we will both pay much closer attention to that car next time it's available to view
Anyway, you're new interior is stunning! Congratulations and enjoy the new leather smell ...

looking good. I love how carbon accents the look of a car. I think it came out great.

Thank you Jäger, but it's still in progress. I have some problems with my PORSCHE traffic pro, it should be repaired, the RDS-diversity is fine now, but the CD-device doesn't work. It has to bee repaired a second time and that takes ten more days.

It's always tricky to release the radio without damaging the carbon, that's the reason why I have to wait to instal the final carbon-parts.

Unbelievable, but my dream-car is completely ready to 100%

A big "THANK YOU" to Marcus Bühler (www.kunststofftechnik-buehler.de) for the individualized carbon-parts and to Thomas Nater (www.ap-car-design.de) for the individualized leather-work, great job!

In the next weeks I will write down finally the instruction, "how to stall the carbon-parts at a 993".
