On my '87 911 I could roll up the windows AFTER shutting off the igntion - key in off position. (Once key was pulled from ignition, I couldn't.) On my '95 993, the igntion still has to be in the running or "on" position to roll them up. Is this normal with these models?
As far as I know it is. I have never done it the other way. The Lexus I have you can remove the key from the ignition and as long as you don't open the door you can close/open the windows and sunroof for about 1 minute. I never heard of this functionon a 993.
Thanks! That makes me feel better. Strange that my '87 seems more advanced. As long as I didn't pull the key from the ingition, I could open/close the windows.
