Japanese spec 993 questions

Japanese cars were not fitted with an option sticker under the hood (or in the rear under carpet hatch area of 944/968) from factory. This perhaps could be optioned back on if the client asked for it. I have never seen a Japanese handbook with options sticker either.

I have a 97 C2S bought in Japan in '07 and it did not have the Options sticker under the hood, nor did it appear in any manual/handbook. Other main difference I have seen only on Japanese version 993's are the full rear seats, meaning the seat bottom is built into the carpet/body, with sides where the thighs rest, rather than the upholstered flat 'planks of wood' appearance of the US and any other versions I have seen…The other common theme throughout most 993s I saw in Japan were (sadly I guess) no sunroof and tiptronic, both of which I have, but after 7yrs no regrets! The car is now in Canada after spending 5 yrs in Switzerland turning 15 yrs old...

My 97 Turbo is a euro/latin american specs (kind of hybrid) and doesn't have the option sticker in the bonnet either the owner's manual book like most US 993 specs I have seen.
