I need to replace the cables on my 993 targa roof. Is it possible to do this without removing the whole roof section?

I did in fact do a search, but I could not find anything specific about how to remove the cables. Perhaps I missed it? If you could guide me to a specific thread about replacing the cables, I would be most appreciative.
