Default Finally got my factory Litronics

Yep! Finally got these plus all the misc. parts from Sunset. I paid $1230 for a set of brand new litronic lights not including the ballasts (I'm missing one ballast/control unit - anybody have one).

Will post in a few weeks about the install. I know I could have gone aftermarket for a fraction of the cost but I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to these things.

people have been mailing about the part list. Beside the headlight units themselves -

993 631 195 00 Plastic bracket (control unit)
993 631 196 00 Base bracket (control unit)
999 500 042 02 Pop-rivet nut
999 190 119 30 Pop-rivet (4mm)
900 075 355 02 Bolt M6 x 16
999 919 098 02 Torx bolt
000-044-900-13 Wiring harness Adapter
993-631-193-02 Ballast

Some of these you need two of each, some you need a few screws. I got everything but the ballasts (I still need one more) from Sunset for $177 including shipping.

I believe the Bosch part number for the ballasts is # 1 307 329 023

There is a lot of interchange between BMW, Audi, and Mercedes models.

I installed the OEM Litronics kit in my wife's 97 Targa a couple of years back.

IIRC, Sunset Imports charged ~$2K for the complete kit.

They are very good.
