Default Red Beru Spark Plug Wire Set Available

Had some people set up to go in for a red beru wire set that Alex makes and they have gone absent at order time. It requires two orders to make it worth Alex ordering the wire. Its $175.00 to US insured shipping included. So im looking for anyone who wants to get in on it with me. Alex places his wire order wed. Contact Alex (EXLR8) or myself by tomorrow night. I understand it's 3-4 weeks or there abouts for delivery. Doug

Sorry Ed I should have given more info. You have to use your own ends but the Beru connectors are attached to the ends with the Beru crimper. First quality from Alex and I understand they are easy to retrofit, Im going for it at that price . I'm not trying to sell these for Alex, just trying to replace a partner so I can get red ones. I don't think he makes much from these ,just some money to cover the crimper purchase. regards Doug

Apparently they are beru m3 connectors that get crimped on the ends by Alex. You screw on your rubber ends after spraying a bit of silicone under them to loosen the old ones up. My rubber ends look new after 70k but the wires look a bit rough. I'm going for it...just want red . regards Doug

Just did this, Alex makes a great set of wires. My connectors were in great shape.

The packet with install tips really helped.

If needed/wanted, AutohausAZ sells just the ends:

Plug End (Lower) 993-602-313-00 = $23.75/ea x 6
Plug End (Upper) 911-602-313-00 = $32.72/ea x 6

Running the part number for the dist. cap connections turned up nothing though.

So this is to replace old/worn wires and pure aesthetics? Or is there another advantage with stronger spark?

Just want to replace wires before they start to arc and.... red wires have been tested to produce 3.6% stronger spark.

I recently used one of Alex's kits to do my wires, everything is top notch and the documentation/instructions are fantastic. Great way to save a few bills if your boots are in good shape and in spec, and you've got a couple hours to spare.

If you need that many, you might as well buy a complete harness. Mind you, if you needed that many, your car is stranded somewhere.

So far, not a single buyer has needed a single cap as I provide instructions for testing them prior to assembly of the wire sets.

I replaced mine because the outer insulation was cracking where the cables made tight bends at the lower valve cover.

Stronger spark? Certainly no weaker than the cables that came with the car from Porsche and I have to say these Beru Silicone Copper Cables are damn nice material; super flexible and I'd bet far more heat resistant.

I have a "partner" for my red wire set . Thanks to all that tried to respond. I f you missed out and can find another person who wants red I am sure you can get Alex to make up a set once he gets cought up. This is a great service that he provides for little if any profit. Thanks Alex.
