Default Traffic Pro

Yes, it works...very well. I was looking for a factory original to replace the gaudy aftermarket unit in my car, but was advised(correctly) by someone on this Forum known to all of you, and known to the Porsche community all over the world, that the Traffic Pro is a better unit- better amplifier, etc. He is(was) spot on, and sold it to me-no regrets.
I can't use the nav system as it didn't have the needed nav CD, but as others have mentioned, the nav system is limited and dated anyway, although it is supposed to work well. Smartphones do better, so why struggle with dated technology.
The CD's for nav is(was) available for a price, for purists.
It was a simple in and out installation- be sure you get the code.
The fidelity and operation are terrific. "Porsche" lights up when it's started, and it looks terrific.
LA Dismantlers was recently peddling one for $1,000. Pretty crazy.
