I usually buy from Tire Rack and have them shipped to my house. Take my wheels off and take the wheels and tires down to the shop and have them mount and balance. Of course you have to have SUV size vehicle to get all that down to the shop. Or as Jm993 said have the tires shipped to a local shop and take the car down there.

I checked into your guys advice.

Looks like Tirerack.com has a list of approved installers listed by zipcode on their website. It will also show you how much they charge.

I may try Tire Source in Boulder and do it all through them.

Thanks again!

running 18" Hollow twists on Günter for a year, when I went back to the Cup II's I couldn't believe how much better the car handled
I always assumed 18"s would handle better? More rubber, lower profile...what am I missing?

Probably a more compliant ride combined with a lighter wheel/tire mass. If you're driving on the street only, that would probably constitute better handling in most cases, if not outright highest traction.

Best,

Matt
