Good luck Brian, we'll need to christen it when done. You'll then start wanting a 4 car version, trust me.

Brian,
Looking good! You have inspired me to start harassing my wife to build a garage again
I have room on the side of my 2-car garage to do exactly what you are doing right now. Keep the pics coming!

Default LONG OVERDUE UPDATE

I opened/started a Chicago office just about the time I started the garage build, so I have been crazy busy and out of town a lot lately, however, the garage addition has marched on at a decent pace.

I updated my thread on Garagejournal.com, check it out:

A garage expansion is a great thing! There is a thread on my garage at garagejournal.com too. I spent alot of time there a couple of years ago. I gathered lots of good ideas there although its pretty hard to keep up with the Joneses .

And I saw "4 post lift" I believe in your other thread... Just for working on it, or is there plans for a "garage buddy" for your cabrio?

The 993 does have a new "garage buddy" to use your term Being the convertible freak I am, I bought an older Benz and jumped on the slippery slope of moding a w124 ('95 e320 cab). I'm almost done with it and will post an OT thread with its details soon. The idea is to put the 993 over the Benz in the new 3rd space. The Benz's big back seat and auto trans make it more suitable for wknd cruiseing w/wife who can't drive manual and kids in tow.

The floooring is called "spartaflex." I'm plesed with it so far. They did the install over two days (clean, grind day one and top coat second day.) Heavy heavy fumes for the first few days but you can drive on it after 1 day. I waited 2, just because.
