Default .674 Bosch DME with Immobilizer?

The sticker on top of the ECU says Bosch DME# 0-261-203-674 however the car also has the immobilizer which is contrary to what I've read (The car comes with the remote and I have to do the unlock twice dance to start the car...that is the immobilizer right?)

Anyone has the same combination on their 993? And if so what aftermarket chip did you get?

I guess there is a remote chance that it really is a .675 but the ecu cover has been swapped? Would the label on the chip itself tells me anything?

I'm looking to buy a GIAC chip for .674 w/o immobilizer and worry that it would not work for my car. Thanks for any help!

You just need a chip for a car with the immobilizer.

Steve Wong & Steve W from Rennsport both have them.

Joshua let me know the chip is sold. I assume you're the buyer. For information sake will the .674 chip work with a 95 w/driveblock (immobilizer). Your car seems similarly equipped to mine.

Yes I'm the buyer taking a chance...I guess I'll find out soon. If it doesn't work I'll pass on the savings.
Does your car w/ .674 ECU has immobilizer as well?
