I recently removed the drivers seat to replace a faulty switch with no problems. The seat now has a front-back movement of 3/16" between the seat rail and the bolted in floor rail. I never touched any of the cables, etc. and with only 50000 miles and myself as the only driver since new, it can hardly be a wear issue. Due to my lousy back I'd love to have some advise about this to be prepared so I only have to pull it out one more time. Thanks in advance for any help, Randy.

Interesting. My seat has a slight movement to it and was wodering if there is a bushing or something that needs replacing. My Honda seat did that and had 4 plastic bushings that needed to be replaced. I looked through the PET but did not find anything. Hope someone else knows.

Hi
Is this seat a mechanical or motorised mechanism for moving backwards and forwards?
The mechanical has a slight movement as there are fingures that fit in to a slot to lock it off.
Thanks,
