Default any of you know this c4s?

Been for sale awhile.Talked to the owner once and seems legit. At one point it was advertised for 38k.Sucks it's on the other side of the country....but it could be a nice road trip.http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto/2797973639.html

I don't know this car. It is a Nice looking C4S, Grand Prix white is a great color on a 993 Porsche. If this Porsche will pass a PPI it is a good buy at that price and a lot of car at that price....

Thumbs down Rear end damage

The rear deck lid gaps are all eft up.5mm or more on the right and 2mm on the left maybe. Looks like rear end damage for sure.

It's been for sale for quite some time. Doesn't seem like a bad idea

Or, it could be the read deck lid just needs to be re-aligned. A solid PPI is a must.

The rear shot wasn't taken square with the back of the car. Most likely just the angle giving the impression of uneven gaps. Looks good to me.

+1. The rest of the deck lid seems to match up well.

The rear deck gaps seem to be pretty consistent, again camera position and lens distortion can be deceiving. Definitely a Carfax and PPI are needed for confirmation.

I was thinking the same thing.Angle of shot plays a huge part of it.I know from experience when shooting pictures of completed houses, that when taken as a "3/4" view, what is exactly plumb and level in the house does not appear that way in the picture.I contacted terry today at truspeed and talked to him for quite awhile.Good guy and very helpful. He remembered it, and gave me a quick rundown and history of it, plus he pulled the carfax for me. Pretty immpresive i thought since i'm not buying from him.....unless they'd knock 10k off on that gorgeous green/cshmr c4s they have

I get good vibes from this C4S. Definitely one to follow up on. Let us know the results of the PPI if you decide to proceed. Buying from so far may sound daunting but if you take things step by step, get a PPI from a reliable Indy, discuss the car in detail with the owner, you'll be making the right decisions. Even better if you can fly out to see it in person or failing that have a Rennlister go check it out. My last 3 cars were bought sight unseen (one was from Hawaii) and I never regretted those purchases because I followed common sense guidelines.
