I had to go back and look a picture of what's in the 910. Things you just don't pay attention to when you're driving.............
In any case, not like this is a non-reversible modification. More than on Gemballa/DP take on a slant nose I got my hands on 20+ years ago to undo the initial damage. Car wasn't worth it, so it got parted out and the chassis scrapped.
I have a black piano finish one with shift pattern and Miata written on it, I believe. They have two sizes, i have the smaller one as it fits in my hand better. I might go for larger (magnum) in a 993 if I can ever get this project completed.
As an aside - as much as I dislike touching aluminum surfaces in a car, these are not getting too hot in the sun. Now, the uncoated aluminum one in my old MR2... third degree burns every single time. So I think proper coating is really important.
I'd be into the black one, piano finish if you could get something going.

Thanks, Mike. I think I've seen this brand discussed on miata.net.
Scott, where did you get the **** and, especially the adapter?
The **** was from Automotion and the Adapter is from Partsheaven.
I have had multiple shft **** setups so far I like 917 Reproduction the best. The Momo Alum ball was too cold in the winter and too Hot during the summer that I had originally in my 85 Carrera but kept it and tried it in the 993. Sorry no photos of it install on the 993.
It's a custom Aluminum part that Partsheaven sells to go over the 944, 964, 993 shift lever to so you can use momo or any aftermarket shift ****. I did have to drill a hole on both sides so I could add a couple set screws to tighten the shift **** to the lever and give a place to wire tie the leather shift boot.
Looks sharp, had one in my 87' and loved it. Tried to fit one in my 993 and gave up when I saw it wouldn't fit. Next purchase will be that adapter. Thanks Scott!
