Having a mechanic who understands the Black Art of passing California Smog is most important.
If I wold have to pick a year I would pick 97 or 98. But everybody knows Arena Red gets the best motors.

i wonder if there's a market for Tiptronic conversions.. these always sit and have lower prices.. would upgrade them to great cars (minus the frankenstien mod and non-matching paperwork)
There were a lot of good cars I instantly knocked off the list as soon as i saw tiptronic
phil.

Are the early cars the 2nd "ROW" horn in this vid? That's what mine sounds like, I've got a 10/94 build..which is kind of a mid year build I guess? I have the OBD-II connector too..

Mine's a 9/94 build. Not sure what type OBD connector it has.
The '95 run was from Dec 1993 thru July 1995 --

^^ per Mike... Yep. There's a post from AOW somewhere with the details. Search the 993 forum for "trumpet."

Living in Calif. I was leaning toward a '95. But, obviously lots here in Calif have newer versions.
Now, my sarcastic answer: you need to go "old school" and get a '95 with M718 code delivered mid-94. Throw some Midnight Blue paint on her, and you can hear Charlie Sheen saying "Winning"!
