Keep them both. Run the BBS for awhile, then swap back to the hollows for awhile. Which ever wheels are off the car can be crazily detailed front to back and ready for the next swap.

I had RS-GT's a few years ago. They are beautiful wheels if you are going away from stock. I say you should take the opportunity to get red center caps while you are at it. Would look great with your setup.

Try to keep both and alternate if possible.
996 wheels for "winter"
BBS for "summer"
enjoy

I'd rock them. The rs-gt style is a pretty aggressive looking wheel compared to the more mild 996tt wheels, but like most have said if you can keep both, superwin!!

Garth,
The BBS wheels are ugly and you should throw them away. I can come down there this weekend and save you the agony of having to make a decision. I will take them away! No, seriously, they are beautiful wheels and I think that you should keep both sets. The hollow spokes are classics but the BBS look so good on a 911. Then again if you do decide that you don't want to keep the BBS, you know where I live...

Appreciate all the responses .... and the offers to help me out of the embarrassment of dealing with two sets of wheels ![Stick Out Tongue](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
There is approximately an even split of opinion favouring the hollows vs RS-GT's .... which is, or was the crux of posting concerning my mild dilemma: the third camp which arose is one that I had considered briefly - but not seriously: that is, keeping both sets ..... at least, retain and use them long enough to make a better decision: as there is no need to rush .... that third camp is currently holding the winning hand: I intend to install the RS-GT's while reserving the hollows for another day .
I do think that the hollows are a classic match; however, there is an undeniable lust factor when fondling the RS-GT's - must give them a run.
These wheels had been on a 993TT, and were purchased by a friend for his immaculate 964 Turbo. Unfortunately , the 964WB takes 993NB offsets, not 993WB ..... so the serendipitous opportunity arose - I had had no intention to replace my hollow spokes. Sadly, I am a victim of second degree lust - no premeditation![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
The wheels are in very good shape, with the exception of ~25-30cm of curb rash on the lip edge of the rears: I've cut & contoured this back with a 6" file, and used several grades of abrasive paper to finish it up. Looks like a clear coat touch up is next ...
