OK, bumping this thread
I finally found time to start playing with this gauge. Need to find a place to mount it (current using the suction cup stalk which is fugly) and also need to configure which gauges to display. A design flaw is they should have put the buttons on the sides rather than the rear...that would have allowed the gauge to be flat mounted

So for now I have it mounted using the suction cup since the space above the center console is not available. The location is good from a visibility standpoint as it is just on my periphery, but damn that suction cup stalk is ugly and very "ricer" esp with the cord dangling

Having the gauge mounted on the suction cup/stalk that came with it was bothering me aesthetically; I have no room above the center console so at least for now I have affixed the gauge in the windshield corner up by the headliner. The cable is just barely long enough to thread behind the A-pillar and under the dash. The cable coming out the left side is not pretty (much less an issue with a LHD car as you can tuck it behind the pillar) but overall the gauge is much less noticeable from the outside and an upward glance still lets me keep eyes on the road. I'll probably get around to doing something to cover up the cable at some point later.
