Default Strut Brace - Targa

I recently installed and Rennline strut brace on the Targa. Although I don't believe my body is calibrated to the point where I can "feel" the car is handling better or that it "feels" stiffer as a result of adding the strut brace as some people indicate they can, I have noticed a decrease in the minor sqeaks from the Targa top. So far I am pretty pleased.

For those with Targa's, you might consider picking up a strut brace to see if it provides similar results for your car.

I actually did not notice the difference, but I had the top pretty well squeak free... LOL!

Mike,

I know you have all the Targa TSB's, etc listed on your website along with a wonderful explanation of how the whole top works and is constructed, but is there any chance you'd be willing to post a Targa "anti-sqeak" outline? I know there are some basics of things to do just to adjust for sqeaks as I've seen posts from you about various specifics. I'm thinking a sort of shorter summary page specifically on minor adjustments vs. all the good technical data you've already posted on your site.

Would it help if I begged?

I have a strutbrace and noticed a change as well.

Has anybody installed a 3 way strutbrace?

My only targa issue is wind noise, however I just have addressed the required adjustment.
