The poor touring is having the equivalent of major surgery, hence the 993 filling in for DD duty. I'm going to try to make it though, warts and all.

Haha! I wish!!! No, coolant leak has me rethinking & rebuilding the entire system. Radiator, water pump, tstat, every hose, every pipe, every crappy piece of plastic I see, and since the intake is going to be off, lots of "while you're in there" stuff. Also going to try a waterless coolant (Evans NPG+C) in hopes that it brings the system pressure down from 2 bars to something more reasonable. The motor runs so hot and there's so much pressure, the garbage plastic components just seem prone to bursting at the seams. My last complete rebuild of the cooling system was a little over 2 years ago . I like the car, but whoever designed the cooling system should be drawn and quartered.

Yeah, I heard the cooling system is a common problem. Where do you take your car? I take mine to Southbay Autohaus in El Segundo. They usually give you a good price if you say your from Mfest.
