Default 993 alignment

I just installed a new set of PSS10 to my 993. I need to find a good place for alignment. Any recommendation? I am in the Los Angeles county area.

Thanks

Johnson's Alignment or West End Alignment.

+1. Most people on here will tell you Darin at West End is the man, but the Alarcons at Johnson's ain't bad either. In fact, I believe Darin worked at Johnson's before splitting to run his own shop. Both are within a stone's throw from each other.

I used West End Alignment about two years ago to install my Bil/HD with H&R springs, cornner balance and alignment. Darin, is great to deal with and is very careful when working on your car. I am very happy with his service. You will need to call and make a appointment with him to work on your car....

Thanks for the info. What would be a fair price to expect from an alignment from Johnson's Alignment and West End Alignment?

Thanks

I have to say that price should be a tertiary consideration when one considers work on our cars.

If Weiner and three others recommend a shop, run to it, call no others and pay the ask.

Thank us later. (the 1* and 2* considerations are quality of work and experience, in no particular order). In the long run we could easily spend less adhering to the above.

I have been told that you need to make sure the alignment shop knows 993s and can adjust the kinematic toe settings. I am installing a pss10 setup next week and I am looking forward to a proper alignment and it will be a $400-$500 experience in addition to the install costs. I am East coat so I bet a good corner balance and kinemetic toe alignment is more $ for the west coast crowd.

Luckly there are a couple good race shops within an hour from me.

Doridori, just give both of them a call and they will tell you their current cost for their service. They both will do a great job and know how to set up your 993 for your driving needs. They will be asking you about your future driving requirements of your Porsche....( track, sport driving events, and or street )

I just had Darin corner balance my 993 a few months ago. $275.

FWIW, Darin used to work at Johnson's many years ago, and did pretty much all the Porsches, including my 911SC.

I would love to visit Johnson's Alignment or West End Alignment. But I found out that they are 50 miles away from me.

Does anyone heard of Aurel & Don's Independent Porsche Service (4429 Lankershim Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91602) or Burbank Quality Brake & Alignment (11100 Burbank Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91601)?

Thanks
