Second time I've stumbled on to this .. I'm pretty sure it's Mirage Metallic (dealer/seller states 'Beige' .. whatever)
Anyway, no affiliation, etc., and for the mileage, the price doesn't seem to out of line for a rare color.

I've checked the books and I find no reference to a "Mirage Metallic" color ever offered for a 993 - nor are there any regular or special colors offered that look anything like this. This must be a paint to sample.

What's with the 4S badge? It's been removed and reattached incorrectly at some point.

Mirage Metallic is listed as one of the 'Special Order' colors for MY '97/'98 code L554 or L555 depending on the paint type.

the mirage is beautiful, and that linen is epic.
I'd pay up for either of those colors and am jealous of someone in the market for a car.

Yep, looks pretty goofy.

The Carfax offered by the seller has some interesting 'electrical system' history as well as emissions failures. Hmm.

At that mileage, it's probably pushing it's luck for clogged ports or worn valve guides .. but if you could negoitiate the price down for those repairs could be a nice deal ...

Wow that second C4S is really expensive for having 70k miles and being a 96 model regardless of its color.

Both of these cars weren't listed while I was looking but even if they had been I don't know if I'd have gone for either. Interesting pricing on both though.
