I can tell from the license plate you're in Delaware but you might want to mention that in your OP ad.

unbelievable detailing. what did you use to remove the rust on the rotor hats? I just tried Griots rust remover on mine. Helped a little bit but not much. Not familiar with the term "paint correction"... can you explain?

A wire wheel on the end of a drill cleaned the rusty rotor hats, then sealed it with a high temp clear gloss paint (just be sure to clean the excess spray off of the rotor face). Paint correction is a term the detail guys use when removing the fine scratches that accumulated over time. The guy at Oakes did an amazing job on it.

GLWS & I'm looking forward to seeing what is next....
Knowing how Bart loves long drives I bet you could get him to drive anywhere in the country for a personal drop off.

Great Car, GLWS!

Does CT have those black digit-only plates too? The 2 and 3 digit (and 4 to lesser extent) plates in DE are a hot commodity and when they sell they go for big bucks.

Bart, Bart, Bart, why sell this again just to rebuy it in a year? I guess its my turn to buy it again so I just have to tell the wife that it is an "investment".

Yes, I bought a 96 TT in Albuquerque sight unseen and flew my dad there to get it and drive it back to Philly. The car had a to be sorted out but Doughertys in West Chester and Kevin from the TT forum worked together to fix my issues.

Here is me paying my dad back for totaling the 944 when I was 16.

Very nice TT! Glad you were able to work out the issues with it.

Great thread on getting the car for your Dad, you picked great parents.

Bart, you need to keep me in the loop! I'm sorry to see you're selling her. I wish I had room for another toy because I would love to buy it back from you. I've missed her ever since I saw you drive off down I-95.

I can vouch for the car, its condition, and its huge volume of records. The car has been impeccably maintained and is a near-perfect example. It has received a ton of compliments and shock when I told people it was over 100,000 miles.

Thanks for the note Ian. Lots of interest in the car. I was planning on spending the weekend getting it ready for winter storage and lo and behold, we had two perfect sunny days.....she now has an additional 600 miles on her.....118,900 and counting .

Needless to say...i'm having sellers remorse and haven't taken a deposit yet....she still sits in the bay where my 991 is soon to be parked. Perhaps I just need to order a lift for that 4th car fitment...afterall...that's why I put 17' ceilings in the garage when we built
