Hmm, this was my introduction to Andreas, may i say hat's off those are beautiful, PM imminently!
My own humble contribution to the art of P-clock recycling was this SC clock mounted in my garage cabinet. It was removed to make room for an oil pressure warning light in a racecar conversion. The Audi voltmeter was replaced by a boost gauge in an old S2 conversion. The redtop battery power came from an formula ford rebuild. So lots of sentimental value built in!

Brandon,
Very cool! Ditch the battery and consider a simple 12v, 250 mA regulated wall adaptor. That will safely handle your power requirements. I purchase these in quantity from Jameco. Let me know if you'd like further info.

Yes that would certainly be a more elegant approach wouldn't it!?! Under the circumstances, this was a case where I saw the parts, got the inspiration, discovered I had the right size sawzall, and threw it together with parts on hand, on the spot. That was three years ago and I could certainly put the battery tender to better use!
Just sent you a PM so if when you reply, you'd be so kind as to provide info on getting the wall adapter, I and my electric bill would thank you!

Brandon,
I've equipped all of my clocks over the years with a 12v 250 mA regulated power supply/wall adaptor.
Here is a link to the actual units I purchase: power supply

Scott,
Yes, quite a few. I can provide some guidance, or you're welcome to send it back for an update.

That day will come!

My clock was owned by another rennlister that upgraded to another AOW clock. Old #0020 was sent back to the clockmeister for a rebuild and some "custom" upgrades.

Keep your eyes open, you never know when another one pops up, and like these, they won't last long.
