Wow,..those are stunning. There will be three lucky people here,...

AOW's #044 has graced my desk for the past few years presenting a beacon of style & design while offering accurate time. What could be better??

Makes me smile every day.

Thank you for your concern. The Cherry clock was made using two blocks and lamintaing under pressure using CA glue. The glue dries clear and quite hard. I had a concern that my logo would not turn out right if centered over the joint.

No damage to the joint, rather, the individual letters not looking consistent because of the differences in hardness between the wood and the joint. i'll leave the busted cherry comment for later...

I use a 12V, 250 mA regulated power supply. So the operation of the clock is not changed in any way. In short, one of these clocks could easily go back into service within your dashboard.

Steve,
Thanks for the kind thoughts! A quick scan of the spreadsheet shows that no.0044 left my hands on 10/10/2006.

O-M-G,....Time flies far faster than I'm prepared for.

I hope you make more of those things as I'd buy a twin of those burlwood ones for my home office.

Andreas. I thought to myself, should I indulge in such an expensive peice? Then I went back and remembered that this is a beautiful thing...It is Porsche, It is high quality and...made by someone who appreciates Porsche and the good things it all means.

Best of all, my wife...although she is not a Porsche weirdo like me will really love this as her gift. I will secretly covet it internally though! Can't wait for the delivery, and thank you.

Andy - enjoy it! My wife would simply look at me and say, "So this is what you really wanted, right?"
