I had a twin turbo S over the Porsche specified top speed on a flat road, they are faster then 185 and the boxster has a bit more then 165mph.

I will cruise on the Autobahn between 110 and 125 mph. I have maintained 140 for about 10 or 20 minutes on A7. Her front end used to feel a little light above 110, but between the PSS10 and the RS splitters she feels very solid now. When I get over 120 mph, and decide I am going to push I turn off the stereo. The autobahn is not as disciplined as it used to be. I highly recommend waiting for a German holiday before doing a full speed run on the Autobahn.

145 or so for me at the track. Very curious to know how much lift is being produced on a stock aero setup at high speed. Anyone know? Car definitely feels lite through high speed kinks.

280 kmh (174 mph) on the tacho, real 270 kmh (168mph) gps on a lonely straith highway at 6.00 am sunday.
absolutely no problem to keep the cR ON "TRACK"

My 993 cab could run the same speed but the noise was like infero

my 964 C4 was able for 260 kmh (162 mph) but not as easy, fine as a 993.

now i can realize some advantages to live in central europe instead of California :-)

for an aircooled 964/993 the travel speed on highways are at 110-120 mph with livable noise level (and 50-60 within the town)

175mph recorded on ax22 datlogger at Elvington (same runway where top gear presenter richard hammond has his BIG crash in the rocket car), car was still slowly climbing but I had gone past the last chance brake boards so had to bottle out and boy was I crapping it as I braked hard for the end of the runway, they have a big earth bank which comes up real fast!!

the vmax and 0-60 (4.5second) was recorded by Total 911 magazine, my secret - a 9M 350BHP conversion, makes all the difference, plus 1180kgs helps, as does big red brakes and cup sports for stopping. Car was rock solid but a couple fo sidewind gusts did **** me up at about 150 - 160!

+300 in a 993 Cabriolet with closed roof on the free Autobahn. It was a downhill part.

That's one of the things i never want to do again in my life...

No GPS-Data... Just what I saw on the speedo.

That's about 186 mph, I guess.

learned my lesson the hard way. I do my alignment myself ever-since on a beissbarth and my positive toe is ALWAYS at +2' per side, or total Toe +4' not less.
Never more lite feeling and most importantly NO MORE AQUAPLANING.

168mph, GPS verified on Autobahn A5 between Karlsruhe and Heidelberg.... new pavement, smooth and fast, clear dry day, light traffic.
