Like a couple of prior posters have stated, muscle cars are often fondly remembered, until you jump in and drive one in the here and now. In the mid 80's I spent 2 plus years restoring a 60's muscle car, something I always wanted to do. Sold it the better part of 20 years later to purchase something more modern, reliable, comfortable, safer and yet still fun. While it sounded mean and looked cool, nearly 10 years and 3 cars later I do not miss it one minute.

Since you really likely want AC, Heat and modern suspension and brakes in your muscle car, may as well try out a new Boss302 or Camaro SS first. Then see if its worth going retro with a genuine muscle car.

They are calling this restomod and the value of these types of restores seem to be very strong. Best of both worlds really.
Not a bad idea, I do like the looks, but not sure if I'm that excited about these. When a 69 Z28 drives by, my neck literally turns a 180. A new Camaro, I don't give it a second look. Like the looks, but doesn't get me excited to own.
Great car, been almost there done that...down the road i will retire with one, so says my wife.

No plans to sell my car, this is a stablemate scenario.
