I had emailed the seller too. His reply was real strange with the following message: "Are you a dealer or private?". I replied nicely with some questions too. No response.

Too strange for me.

I'm not saying this is the case with this one, but keep in mind the crooks have a new scam that targets upscale cars. I've seen it more at Cars.com than Autotrader. A car that's just too good to be true, with real photos, the real data, etc. They end up hooking somebody for a deposit...

Car looks good, and at that price it's a good deal......IF the PPI is good. No PPI = no deal in my book.

I can understand asking the dealer/private party question since the minute you advertise your car these days all the consignment type places start calling. This may not be TGTBT, just a buyer who wants a quick sale and doesn't mind turning off the cautious buyer.

The price seems WAY low for that car.

Jay, You know that I am always thinking about getting a 993 as a companion to the 997. I might pull that trigger one day as long as you help me find a great one which has the top end, bottom end and middle rebuilt!
