Kika,

Thanks for posting. Love these wheels. I wonder if they will fit a NB as well. This is from his listing.

"This auction includes the Techart spacers for the rear and 20 lug bolts. Used these on my 996 turbo with 225 40 18 front and 295 30 18 rear tires"

He added the offsets

Added Offset/Width Info. (Found it on the inside of the wheels)

Front: 18x8.5 ET50

Rear: 18x10.5 ET42

Spacers: 15mm

That offset and 10.5 size ain't gonna fit any NB....unless you do some major surgery.

axl911,

Thanks. I thought it may be possible because he was running 15mm spacers.

Absolutely, those are meant for widebody. I have the newer Formulas on my C4S and they fit perfectly with no spacers. They are the same sizes and offsets as the ones being auctioned.

Cool wheels. How long do I hold out for Fuchs to start making a 17" wheel?

It is my understanding that they will fit OK without spacers -

FYI those are the wrong rims for an NB car. Do your self a favor and stay away from the thought of trying to make it work with spacers. The TechArts you are looking for are 18X8.5 ET50 for front and 18X10.5 ET60 for rear on NB cars. The ones listed are WB fitment.

If it helps, here is a crappy cell phone pic I took this evening of my C4S with the Techart 18's.

I think these are one of the few aftermarket wheels that look fantastic on a 993. It appears the bidding has exceeded the original BIN price, and BIN is now gone. Someone (like me......Doh) should have jumped on those when first listed.

hmm, that sounds awfully suspicious, why would ANYONE bid more than the BIN price?

Happens all the time. Once the first bid is placed, BIN disappears (on no-reserve auctions). Subsequently, new people come along, see the auction, decide they want them and are oblivious to the original BIN price, and bid. Or, even if he/she is aware of the original BIN price but held back from going for it, he may be willing to bid higher once deciding to make the plunge.

The NB version is a 10.5" rear as well, IIRC. ET42 10.5" is widebody offset. As the original post states, these will not work on NB cars.
