You cant go much lighter than marble grey from black, as Mark says, its all in the preparation, its not a one coat of paint affair, lots of cleaning and preping and sealing

thank you, but not sure which brand to go with yet..

yes, same going dark to light.

I did a set of 964 seats a few years back
went from black to a very light grey.

it will take an extra coat unless you strip all of the color first.
