No, but if you are anywhere near Mass I would recommend Rick Nelson at Unique Car care. He does exceptional work.

Rick Nelson hands down, I wouldn't even bother with another shop.

The problem is that I understand Unique measures their job times in days or weeks. I can't imagine what a 2 week detail job would cost...not to mention the fact his shop is a few hours away. I might be wrong, I only know what 2 people have told me today...but a detail job like that would cost thousands and that is not what I am looking for.

Do I have the wrong impression?

Def not true. This might be the case if you need paint correction but ricks details are not that expensive. He has a lot of cars moving through his shop and just because they might be there for a few days doesn't mean that he's working on them the whole time. He's worth the drive and at the least worth a call, he's very flexible and will work with you and your price range.

Although some of the cars I work on take several weeks to complete, I don't charge as much as you might think. I believe my prices are extremely fair for the quality work I perform and would be more than happy to tell you a little about the services I offer if you'd like. I can tailor the detail to whatever budget you have in mind.

Feel free to contact me privately, as I don't want to 'spam' the forum.

Best regards,
~Rick

I appreciate the info and you come highly recommended.

However, I was just looking for a very basic detail that could be done same day and was within easy driving distance of me.

I haven't used them, but one of my friends swears by them for his 997 GT3.

Yep - all the PM's I got about him said the same.

Unfortunately, I am nowhere near him and looking for something a little more basic.

Thanks for all the positive comments everyone...

DC- Alex is a great guy and I'm sure he will take good care of you. Be sure to post up some pictures after the detail!
