Go to Radio Shack, and buy a can of electrical contact cleaner. Romove the black rubber boot on the door sensor, and spray the switch with the contact cleaner. If the boot is damaged or torn, you can order a new one from Sunset for a couple bucks.

When I first took my 993 to the local wrench who specializes in aircooled P-cars the first thing he did was put the driver's side window down and throw the key on the seat. He told me he'd had a couple of 993s self lock on him so now he never leaves the key in the car when the windows are up.
