Thanks. It was a difficult decision to sell it, but it was the right thing to do. It was a great car! Having owned a 993 for the past 7 years and visiting this forum several times a day I am having some major separation anxiety.

Chuck ~ Our 993 (#3) has been gone for two years now (help me smoke, when did you buy it?) and I STILL camp out here. I know we'll have another 993 again so there was never any reason me to pack up and leave.

Yeah.... I could get another 993. But I have come to know these cars so well and the folks on this forum that I can't leave. It appears that I am in good company!

This thread didn't start out with the purpose of making a very important point, but it has. Three of my favorite people on the 993 forum (Joanne, Chuck, and Calvinc4s) don't currently have 993s. This forum is not about owning the car. It's about the love of the car.....all of them. That's to distinguish it from the un natural relationship being discussed in another thread.
By the way I know for certain that 993 ownership is in the works for at least one of those 3 people.
Hope I've made my point. Chuck, if you stop hanging out here we'll sure miss you.
