Oh how I miss mine...
I hear you Mike. This is my third E30 M3 and my favorite so far. I'm sure you miss the 2.5 beast you built. I loved watching the build over at S14.net.

Cheers, Paddy

Yea, I sure do. That car was just so fast & responsive! Way faster then my 993's. But it got to the point that the car owned me, & there were so many NLA super expensive parts I no longer wanted to drive it at the track, or on the streets.

Rode in my friends M3 and it was stroked to 2.5. He got 220rwhp so it was pretty strong. Just as much as stock 993's over here.

Stealth 993, how much rwhp did you get from your 2.5?

It was in the 250whp range, & almost 220 torque. 2750bs with me in it wet. I also had the Euro dog-leg short ratio trans. Before I sold it, had some trick BWM Motorsport rally cams to install.

Really?

Fast sale for sure. I want one of these in a bad way. Even though it's sold, could we see some more pics?

I used to have 3 of these!!! Awesome cars! I even built a e30 M3
Cabrio with all factory parts and dropped a e36 M3 motor into it! The weight balance and "feel" of these cars is second to none! I regret selling my 1988 diamondschwartz beauty everyday! Be sure you REALLY want to sell it because you "will" kick yourself for doing it over and over again!

Sold to a nice gentleman locally who was looking for a 993 or an E30 M3. Here's some pictures he sent me in its new home.

I dont think it would be a good dd. No torque and kinda old. It might need more work than your 993.

I have 2 E30 M3 track cars, i dont know how they would be as a dd as mine are track only but as a huge porsche fan it takes something to admit that i often get more enjoyment on momentumn tracks in my E30's than my 993. The speed u can carry thru corners is phenomenal and requires a v different driving style. I still find it amazing that on a track without many straights a track prepped E30 will take down most of the competition if driven correctly.. Seems to be on par with Lotus Exige S's and Caymans, The only ones that get away are the GT3 RS's and the Z06's (oh and the people cheating in the R35 GTRs). Wish i had some pics to hand..i'll try n dig some out as i know how useless a post without pics is..
