Default 996 hollows mounted on C4S pics

I just mounted my 996 hollow twists on the C4S. I also went from 225 fronts to 235 fronts and went up to 295 rears from 265. I don't know if it is the bigger tire or the lighter wheels but my car drives a lot nicer. Way more smooth, no more tramlining, no steering wheel vibrations. The shop did a real nice job road force balancing them. The ride improvement could also be that I went from Pirelli Rosso to new Hankook Ventus. I am liking the look a lot. I will keep the 993 twists for future sale or in case I want the stock look again.

I have the same wheels/tires Chris...albiet 225's up front. I got 11K miles out of the rears with those Hankooks-on my second set of rears now. I have only about -1.8 degrees of camber all around also. Those Hankooks work very well IMHO, and you can't beat the price.

Now get busy and get a split grill for that thing will ya!

Certain wheels on certain colors of these cars just pop. On others, not so much.

This is the perfect combo, nice job.

Yup, great combo.

Now why did you have 265's on the rear?

I had the standard 993 WB twists which are 18x10 rear and they had 265/35 on them. That is what they had when I bought car but as far as I know it is a pretty common size for these cars. It does look much nicer with bigger tires in the rear and the 11 inch wheels definitely make a big difference in the stance and fills the wheel well much better. Ginch's car just made me want to lower mine more. I love black WB's. Thanks for the compliments.

I use them for the track with 225 in the front and 295 in the rear. I might go wider in the front on my next set but beed to watch the diameter ratio due to the AWD.

265 in the rear is not enough for the AWD wide bodies! It must have pushed like a pig ...
