I have installed dozen of 7mm spacer shims on Porsche over the last 20 years. Up to 7mm there is no need to replace with longer studs. The huh eccentric thing isnt really needed as the wheels locate on studs and have ball radius bottoms so "pull" the wheel in the correct position as long as you dont tighten one nut all the way up first!
