If anyone is curious about the Atlanta Mille, this is what it was like with 300+ Porsches on the track at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Slow going overall but it is interesting to see the variety of cars. Sorry, no sound. It is just our regular camera in video mode. Better than nothing. The video is 4 minutes long.

How was this event overall? I would have gone, but I was out of town for the weekend.

Not sure. It was suposed to be individual laps for people that paid extra money. It never happened so they let everyone on the track. Fortunately everyone drove well and I don't believe there were any mishaps. We enjoyed it since we never have experienced this track and it's steep 24 degree banks. Something different for us, but the whole event was quite disorganized as I'm sure you have read on the other Mille thread.

It was not organized well at all (see the other Atlanta Mille thread) but we rarely complain about driving in our car for hours at a time so the 3 hour trip down and back from the AMS was fun for us and we liked the laps too. That was about it.
