Just got my car back with a new convertible roof installed. It's a Gahh roof. I believe I installed the same roof on my previous cab in 2008.

The strangest thing is that this one has rear window that is way too low. I can see the basket handle clearly. Because of that the window seems pretty narrow and squeezed on top. I do not believe that my previous Gahh roof had the window installed that low.

Am I going insane or do others with Gahh roof see the same issue?

Can someone measure the distance between the bottom of the roof and the bottom of the glass for me as well as the height of the rear glass, please?

Bottom of roof to edge of glass: 3 1/4. Height of glass: 17 1/4. I can see my basket handle when sitting in the drivers seat as well. My roof has has been replaced, but not sure of the manufacturer.

Mine measures just under 17" and sits about 3 1/4 above the bottom of the roof. Interesting.

Would like to hear measurements from somebody with OEM roof.

Measurements from Europe: 44,5 cm and 8 cm respectively.

I can just see the top of the brake light bar from driving position, but can imagine that the seat height setting and length of the driver are of great influence.

Mike, just went out to the garage and checked. I also have a GAHH replacement rag top and it is also 3-3/8" from bottom edge to the window and the window is 17-1/2" tall. Put a cushion on your seat.

My seat is actually too high if anything as the top of the view is a bit cut off.

But i can swear that the OEM roof was taller. Hell, even your Gahh is at least 1/2" taller. Mine has a strange feel that I'll have to get used to. At least there are no holes in it.
