Ahh, you know what I"m gonna tell you ... tie matches socks :-) Go red! and .. I'm assuming the Carrera badge is silver .. this will look awesome IMHO, but obviously, I'm not a 'conservative' source of opinion

Oh ... ah, got it .. I'm sparkin' now :-) Ok, well then, I think you're right, red wouldn't look right. I'll assume you want to keep your 'big red's' red and the Carrera badge black, ... and in that case, I'd go stock with the steel grey 'S' badge. On the Speedster, I was painting my calipers anyway and that's why I went with Speed Yellow calipers and then a matching 'S' badge on the back. Not for everybody, I know, but I really like the contrast. When the car was parked at the Mother's display at Rennsport .. a couple of guys came up and one says .. '.. not digging the yellow badge much ..' and the other guy stopped and pointed to the calipers and told his friend 'don't be a d**k, dude .. '

The prior owner of my 991.1 removed the PORSCHE and 911 Carrera S badges and replaced them with a large PORSCHE decal that looks like a retro 1960s version. I am replacing and have been looking for a personalized look rather than all the excess clutter or original. Pretty much everybody in the entire world knows its a Porsche. I really like your take on it so I am respectfully copying it...though with matte black Carrera and the scarlet S. Cheers!

In general, it's best to start a new thread. Do you have a 993? If so post some pictures and introduce yourself (in a new thread).

Red S looks absolutely amazing.
PS: Why doesn't this car have the "split grill" spoiler? I thought all S models did.

Only S (2wd) cars had the split grill. 4s cars never did. Love them though and a lot of 4s owners change them out. The grill on this car has been painted to match as well- which is also pretty cool.
