Default Rauh Welt Idlers video

In building one of the first US RWB vehicles for SEMA this year, an old acquaintance posted a short documentary to his website on these RWB Idlers folks.

Not everyone's cup of tea, but an interesting watch nonetheless.

How about a separate post about your build?
I have a feeling I'm not the only one who would be interested...

Didn't your acquaintance also have a midnight blue widebody cab at one point too? Didn't he used to be active here?

Not my build, but some of the build progress is probably on that site. The green one is Mark's (used to be the black with gold Volks in the 964 forum), the white one is a manager's for Ken Block's new project I believe, and the 993, dunno who owns that.

That was Jeff (allill), but it's been a while since he's posted. I believe he's since moved on to other things.

I seem to remember his pictures used to say "fatlace." Thought it might be the same guy.

RWB USA opening was Oct. 29 from 5-8pm @ FATLACE PADDOCK in San Mateo, CA.

Here is a short vid that I took while I was there.

Good stuff...

Do you have any pictures of the white 930 or 965 with red wheels?

What’s Hoonigan you ask?

Hoonigan is a new automotive brand aimed at promoting and enjoying the drive-it-like-you-stole-it lifestyle.

One of the first RWB Porsches in America, this baby was built by Nakai-San himself. Scotto — a jack of many trades and the man who rode the Segway in that little Ken Block video with a few million views — drove the car 850 miles to the SEMA show in Vegas. It looks gorgeous.
