Default Current Body Shop Recs in DC/MD/NoVA area

Sadly, my recent move to DC has included my car being "christened" by a local, so I need a good body shop to repair front and rear passenger side fenders and wheels. (Not sure about frame damage).

Are Wagonwork in Alexandria and Euro Pros in Gaithersburg still the shops of choice in the area? Is there a difference between these two in Quality? Price? Speed?

Any other recommendations?

Thanks!

I have used Euro Pro and would recommend them most highly. I have also recently used D&V Auto Body since they are much closer to my home. They are located near Dulles airport. Address is 23550 Overland Drive Dulles VA, phone is 703-661-8545. They did work on my 996 turbo S, small dent on rear fender and wheel repair. Very nice to work with, good job on the repair. I also had them detail the car and that was very well done. Price for the work was in line with a quote I got from Euro Pro.

It may be too far for you, but everyone with high end cars in my area uses:
Auto Collision Specialists -
12918 Gores Mill Road
Reisterstown, MD 21136-5131
(410) 833-5697

Over the years I've been there on three occasions, and each time there were Porsches, Mercedes, and BMWs being repaired. If you are a perfectionist, you can't go wrong with them.

Wagon works in Alex has a good rep and Porsche of Alexandria use them for their body work.

Thanks for suggestions - I should add that I'm in the District, so Metro proximity is a plus. I added a few pics of the damage to the original post as well if anyone wants to see.

Euro Pros nickname is Euro Slows. They do nice work (allegedly) but your car will be there for 6 months. I'm not exaggerating.

Also check out the very active local DC Porsche forum: www.dorkiphus.net

Euro Pro has a shuttle to the Shady Grove Metro station. My experience was that were a little slow but they quoted three weeks and that was what they took to do the job. They have moved to a new facility recently (last 6 months I think).

For Super Work (major work on my 993 that was a 2010 Porsche Parade Concours winner) is Robert Appel who now works at Mr. Spoiler on Euclid Ave in Manassas.

Tell him I referred you.
