Default Snow already?? WTF!!!

I love snow. I love skiing. I love the look of the white snow everywhere. But I HATE road salt!!! Uggh, it is too early to stop driving the Porsches. I know I have a C4S, yes it is all wheel drive but the sanders throw so much salt over the roads. I am not worried about rust, I hate what the sand and salt do to the paint. It is like a constant drive behind a giant truck with the pick up bed full of stones. That was my rant for the day, back to regularly scheduled programming.

Yup. Woke up this morning to snow in the yard. More tomorrow night. The good news....it'll melt quickly and we will be back driving around the 993 for another month.

Colorado already had a foot of snow on Wednesday.

I bathe in it. Hollar!

I got dumped on in Denver Weds. The good news is, my return ticket said San Diego. Hit about 80 at the house today. Although, it will be cold tomorrow: 68F.

Hmm, we have been getting a lot of rain, but it not too cold (relatively speaking). Just about to switch to my winter tires on the Turbo for the next 6 weeks, then she is off the road for maintenance.

On the west coast, we are supposed to be colder than usual, but also drier - but it means when it does dump, it will be snow. Got my 4x4 and my snowblower ready....

Good thing that NY Hudson Valley run was last Saturday? Visitors couldn't have asked for better fall weather, huh?

Oh well, tomorrow at Sears with PRC. (No, not racing. Like I'll ever have my act together, or be healthy enough for that again in this lifetime...........) Expect low 70s at race time.

But I anticipate we're inside 4 weeks to get the skis and board back out. Got my season pass in hand!

I can't imagine living in snow country. Being born and raised in So. Cal. it is incomprehensible to garage cars for the winter or not be able to ride your motorcycle year round. That said, I won't drive the Porsches in the rain. And I love the winter landscapes photos that are posted here!

Just drove up to my house in Hunter, NY for the weekend, there is snow on the ground already. They are predicting another 8 INCHES for tomorrow. Now that's an early end to the driving season...

Snow Damn I guess I should not complain about the light rain showers this morning going up to low 80s this weekend.
