WTB: 28mm wheel spacers...
Turns out the spacers that I came with my 19" RUFs years ago are for a Boxster, so are a bit narrow for the 993tt. The rears need to be pushed out a bit to look "proper".
RUF specs a 28mm spacer for the rear, so that is what I am currently looking for. Not sure if I can go wider without any rubbing issues.
Anyone out there have a 28mm RUF or H&R DRM series spacer pair they want to sell? I will go out and buy a new set (likely the H&R's since the RUF's are about 60% more money) but thought I would ask just in case.
Cheers,
Mike

Hmm, might need to do some math.
For the 993 wide bodies, RUF specs the following for their 19" wheels (with the 10" width in the back).
F: 245/35/19 R: 285/30/19 Spacer: 28mm
Now, I took these wheels/tires off my Targa, and they have Sumi's on them. Unfortunately, the widest Sumi's come in on 19's are 275, so the I have on the wheels today:
F: 235/35/19 R: 275/30/19 Spacer: 21mm - The revs per miles are 816 F/811 R = 0.61% diff, which is well within spec.
I am sticking with these tires for now (just spend a wad buying Scarlett - not much left to spend this year!), and on the car I now have at least 20 - 25mm clearance between the tire and the body with a 21mm spacer.
In the future, I may change brands of tire, but without changing the rear wheels totally to 11", am restricted to tires close to what I have today. I am good with that, since the rear/front diameters are nice and close.
So I can go 28mm as per RUF, which adds another 7mm, or even wider. H&R supplies 28, 32, 35, 43mm and so on. In theory I could go to 35 mm and fit, so a 28 or 32 sounds like the target.
Its too bad I cannot try ones on locally just to see fitment. I might have some 7mm spacers around that I can put on the current spacers just to see how the car settles.
What do you guys think?
Cheers,
Mike
