OK, West Coaster trying to crash the party. Tell me if it's possible staying Fri in Meridien CT to come over and see you guys/partially participate in a POS rental car AND get back to Boston Logan in time for a 630PM flight back home.
Wife probably won't be thrilled, but hey..............

The runs are usually done by around 12:30 which would give you plenty of time to get back to boston.

It would be tough to make it in the morning since its about 2 hours from meridien to the startin point. You could probably meet us somewhere along the way but I don't know the route so I'm not sure where.

It's definitely doable. As long as you jump on the road by 1:30/2PM, you should be fine. I live 20 minutes outside of Boston.

Ken,
It will be nice to have a Left coast Rennlister join the Fall Run. Maybe you can convince Darin and Mark D. to surprise us too. It is less than 3000 miles.
Ok...no drinking for me Friday night! A 7:30a meet time is just fine.

Firmed up our plans now. Friday will be an "explore the Hamptons during dead (?) season" via the Oyster Point ferry. So we'll be staying in Hauppauge, and only about an hour from the start. Gotta use all those Starwood points somehow. Amazing how you end up in out-of-the-way places. Like near the Providence Airport right now.
And just so you don't think I'll be trying to one-up anyone, the rental is a Bitchin' Impala (aplogies to the Dead Milkmen).

Route plans are usually not distributed until the morning of the drive at the meeting place prior to departure (so as not to tip off LEOs or party-crashers)
I think that is correct.
