Default Garage organizer systems

I'm about to really redo the garage..my recent cleanup suggested that I need to do this organization thing better.

I've been looking at garage "organizer" systems....there are dozens and dozens. Anyone done this and have something they like?

(My wife suggested that I talk to my "enabler" friends on Rennlist...I'm not sure what exactly she means.....)

Comments on coverings for concrete floors are welcome as well.....

Garagejournal.com is a good resource. I like a combination of different storage areas. I have a small loft, bunch of cabinets from Sears, some racking, some ClosetMaid, some wall mounted peg board.

Garages are like houses, everyone has their preferences. A lot depends on what you want to do in it. I made mine work for me. www.garagejournal.com is a great place to get some good ideas. The lay out you want is a good place to start. Then the workbench, floor, cabinets, lights and so forth.

Well, my garage could definitely benefit from a trip to Sears and a few of those Gladiator pieces. I'd really like a 6' or 8' center island workbench with roll out tool box and storage modules ... just in case any of you were wondering what to get me for Christmas this year ..
Hey ... I'll bless your whole family ...

I am not sure who owns this garage, but I have seen it posted in the past. It is one of my favorites.

Oh great. I get the car(s) to a point I'm fairly happy with.....then this. My garage looks like I have everything I've ever owned in there then put it on spin for a few days.

If you ever need to spend money, just come here!

With mine you would just need to add a bag or 2 of dog hair to the mix.

Sounds like we have the same "designers" Bill. I tell everyone that my 2 Jack Russells shed enough to build a 3rd dog every couple of days.

Now how about some more bank-account-draining/garage organizing pics!
