New Rims: Alleggerita 18" anthracite. Whatcha think>?
The rubber was shot on my Kinesis K28 R's.. So I somehow decided to get new rims as well as shodding her in a set of Bridgestone Potenza S-02 A's.. I was not really sure how "Anthracite" was going to turn out.. (I was actually thinking of running the orange for a color, http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...Orange+Painted but they had to ship it in from Italy and that would have taken months, so I went with the Anthracite.. neal@tirerack.com hooked me up.. (no affiliation) I was never a huge fan of OZ, but after checking the quality and price, ( $390 front, $411 rear) and weight, (17lbs front, 19lbs rear) I'm blown away by the results and overall appearance of these ( value) 18" rims. Unsprung weight is decent and they feel planted. At $1620 for the set.. (I think my Kinesis were that PER rim.. ) these are well worth it.. My Kinesis K28 R'sK28 R's 18" are now for sale. Minty condition.. (see last photos) PM me..

I was just looking at those exact wheels on TR and they look great on your car. I've had my current Victor Equipment wheels for 5+ years and it's time for a change. Now I just need the $....

Very nice.
I wish there was a site where I can see what they look like on my Speed Yellow 993. They would contrast nicely in that colour.
One thing, I prefer either 5 or 10 spoke wheels to go with 5 wheel nuts...its an Andreas thing, you know.
