OMG!!! Robert and I are not alone in the world! There are other nutz too

You know, Palooza is not a judged event, right?
You'll probably win with your car just because of the color. You could have a can of coke in a hand made cup holder and win. It's totally low key and low stress and so much FUN.

However, now that I've said that I have to tell you you are doing a great job and your car is looking hot!
When you are done you'll be ready for full Concours division at PCA Parade . I'm serious about that too. You could do it. Enter Salt Lake City next year. Some of the regulars need some new blood in the competition. It would be great!

The day they start to white judge Palooza, it will no longer be Palooza. Dirty wheels, clean wheels, old cars, new cars, anyone can win when it's people's choice.

Bead blasted the rotors, then painted with high temp primer, high temp silver, and high temp clear.

As for Mike's comments...

I'm doing it for the show even though it's a people's choice and this will be the first time a lot of Rennlisters to see my car. Plus I have been meaning to do this for awhile now.

Mike

You'll win....... (sorry other Rennies)

We've been under our cars before (yes me too) doing what you are doing right and it's totally satisfying. It's hard to explain.

I never enter because I am too busy driving! I suspect that you have a winner.

Arrrgh. It's not just the wheel wells ... I went and looked at Gladiator equipment online at Sears .. Now, I need a 6' workbench and a modular rollaway undertable 5 drawer tool chest and two door storage box dammit. This is all your fault, Mike!!

JPP,

Get the 8ft workbench with the back plate that has a light. Much better deal. I always have 2 projects going at once on my 8 footer. Heck I'll spend all your money.

Yeah, I was looking at that ... it's really not that much more and of course, it's all on sale with free delivery right now. My plan is to put it in the center area like an island ... I already have overhead power and lights in place. The adjustable leveling legs will totally work on my lovely earth-quake shattered cement floor until I can get it re-poured :-)

What brand of hi-temp clear do you use ?
I vaguely remember an old thread where u mentioned how the finished product is like nail polish.

JoAnne, he's following me over to Palooza. Mike doesn't know it yet but I'm gonna take every back road and logging road I can find between Nashville and Eureka Springs.
